  14. license agreement, and provides information on registering your copy of 
  15. The Integral Scientist.

  22. INSTRUCTIONS

  24. If you are reading this file from within The Integral Scientist you can
  25. print the forms pages of this ISD file directly from the viewer.  When
  26. viewing a forms page you will notice a button on the bottom menu bar which
  27. says [@f5 Print Page].  Click on that button or press @f5 and you will see
  28. the familiar report generator window.
  29.  
  30. The output options are limited to printer and file and the file name for
  31. printing forms is IS_FORMS.TXT.  You can use the default forms file name or
  32. rename the output file.  However, unlike when you rename the normal report
  33. output file, the name is not saved.
  34.  
  35. Select the desired output and press enter.  The form page will be printed or
  36. saved to a file.  You can save several forms to the same file.  Forms saved
  37. to a file can be imported into a word-processor and filled in for printing.
  38. Forms sent to a printer can be completed by hand.

  41. LICENSE SUMMARY

  43. This summary introduces you to the provisions of the license without the
  44. mumbo-jumbo & lawyer-speak required of the actual legal license contained
  45. in IS_INFO.ISD and viewable in its entirety for purposes of establishing
  46. requirements for vending and distribution only by using the VENDPRCS 
  47. processing of the distribution disk file VENDEDIT.DIZ.  Use by individuals
  48. is covered in the IS_INFO.ISD file. α

  50. The Integral Scientist copyright owner is David M. Trump doing business as
  51. Integral Scientific Software.  The program is produced in both shareware and
  52. licensed version.  The registered version is installed with special
  53. instructions which remove the shareware notices during use.  Shareware
  54. copies of IS are distributed to allow you to try the program before you pay
  55. for it.  Licensed users can install their licensed version on two computers
  56. of which they are the primary users, but use on a network requires a special
  57. negotiated license.  You are encouraged to give "shareware" copies of this
  58. program to others, but don't share your installed, registered version nor
  59. give your registration number to others.  If after registering, you are
  60. dissatisfied, you can get your registration fee refunded within 30 days.
  61. We've tried hard to make the program useful and accurate and bug-free, but
  62. our liability is limited to your actual registration costs.

  73. The Integral Scientist is a copyrighted program protected by U.S.  and
  74. international copyright law.  If you obtained The Integral Scientist from an
  75. on-line computer service or bulletin board, a friend or colleague, or
  76. purchased a distribution disk from a shareware vendor or other similar
  77. source, you have an unregistered (trial) copy.  You are authorized to use
  78. this copy without charge for a reasonable period of time under the terms of
  79. The Integral Scientist license agreement.  After an evaluation period, you
  80. must register and pay for The Integral Scientist if you continue using it.

  82. This method of distribution is known as shareware.  It allows you to
  83. determine whether The Integral Scientist meets your needs before you pay for
  84. it and permits Integral Scientific Software to distribute the program and
  85. market it at a very low cost to you, the user.  High advertising costs,
  86. fancy packaging expenses and dealer mark-ups are avoided.  The result is a
  87. bargain in quality software.

  90. REGISTRATION OPTIONS

  92. There are many options to choose from when registering The Integral
  93. Scientist.  Select the option which best suits your needs or contact
  94. Integral Scientific Software to negotiate an arrangement for your special
  95. requirements.

  97. A Single Use license, permits installation of a registered copy on one or
  98. two computers of which the licensee is the primary user.
  99.  
  100. Ten User Single Site license, permits installation on a network or multiple
  101. individual computers for use by up to 10 users at one time.

  103. Ten User Multiple Site license, permits installation on up to 10 computers
  104. located at multiple sites but owned or operated by a single business, or
  105. educational entity.

  107. Ten Pack of Individual Licenses; permits distribution or sale to clients or
  108. customers.  Purchaser of a 10-pack may customize the package by adding
  109. specialized material.  Contract programming is available to assist in this
  110. customizing or it may be done by the purchaser.

  115. The registration fee for a single copy of The Integral Scientist is $50.

  121.   you.  (We ship both 3.5 and 5.25 disks.)

  126.   upgrades will be available for down-loading from a variety of sources.

  135. SITE LICENSES
  136. Integral Scientific Software also offers very cost effective single and
  137. multiple site licenses:

  139. A 10 user single site license covers any mix of both network and individual
  140. installations at a single site.  (Includes "on-the road" use on portables
  141. based from a single site.) Includes one software package, one copy of the
  142. manual with permission to copy for each user.
  143. Cost: $200.00  Shipping and handling is the same as single user package.

  145. A 10 user multiple site license, covering 10 users of a single company or
  146. other entity permantly operating at multiple sites.  (Does not permit
  147. distribution to clients or others not employees or associates of the
  148. license holder.) Includes one copy of the full manual with permission to
  149. copy for each user and 10 distribution packs consisting of disks and
  150. installation & quickstart manual.  One license ID is supplied and support
  151. must be through a single contact.
  152. Cost: $250.00 Add $7.00 to the single copy shipping and handling for your
  153. destination.

  155. A 10 pack of individual licenses.  Purchaser may distribute or resell
  156. "as-is" or add custom data files or documentation files to the package.
  157. Special instructions are included to enable your added files to be handled
  158. by the normal install process.  May be distributed to clients or sold at
  159. retail as long as no materials are removed from the package.  Each package
  160. is a complete single-user package but is unsealed to allow additional
  161. materials to be inserted.
